Power engineer

Responsibilities

Follow up on the daily progress of power works on the project’s premises and escalate delays to ensure timely implementation of the related plans.
Ensure that performed maintenance is aligned with designs, user manuals, and layout.
Monitor the performance of power works by conducting regular surveillance visits and review reports prepared by contractors and change modifications as required
Inspect power works implementation and power systems performance after installation, commission and apply final acceptance.
Follow up the implementation of preventive maintenance by team or contractors as per agreed SLAs (Services Level Agreements) with clients/ requesters.
Monitor power and any maintenance operations that are performed within the projects premises.
Prepare and control log of records for repaired power equipment and include them in sent reports to the direct Upper.
Participate in power systems designing based on requirements that are set according to site survey results or received from the Clients/requester.
Review technical submittals (documents, drawings, etc...) prepared by external providers or contractors and provide recommendations.
Maintain records of all power systems documentation (drawings, standards,) and update them upon any change.
Participate with the Cost & planning engineer in setting and reviewing the specifications and bill of quantities of equipment and works from a power view of point based on design and send them to Power HOS.
Follow up power works implemented by contractors through field visits to ensure implementation aligned with the approved design.
Validate and study maintenance test results provided by power technicians and recommend the needed decision of items’ status.
Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: BA Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Experience: 3 years of Electrical Engineering experience are required.
Experience with AutoCAD & Revit Systems are required.
